But I will post sometime. DON’T WORRY! SPREAD THE WORD!
So I wrote a whole chapter pretty much… but I restarted my computer without saving it…
I’mma flip a bitch!
Ugh! I’ll write a new one!
Evangeline:
After eating breakfast I went back upstairs and put on a pink tank top, and some blue shorts. It was going on 10 am and I really needed to go for a run.
“Where are you going?” he asked me. “Don’t worry babe, I’m just going for a run. I’ll be back in 30 minutes.” I said as I grabbed my iPod and headphones. I gave him a quick kiss and headed out the door.
Running was to clear my mind, it was my escape. I ran around the neighborhood every morning to really just stay in shape. My figure was already really nice, and I wanted to keep it that way.
I’ve been running for 20 minutes non stop and I was exhausted. I stopped by a coffee shop that was close by. I went inside and saw that it had some sort of coco feel to it. The walls were a light brown, and vanilla color. There were a few people here, and the tables had coffee beans on them… I guess it was just a giant sticker with coffee beans on them. I know I looked like shit, being sweaty from all that running and whatnot but I needed a drink bad.
“Welcome to Coffee Toffee, how may I help you?” said the tall yellow man behind the counter. I was still deciding what I wanted to get. Probably just get some sort of strawberry smoothie. “Uh… yes, can I have one of your uh… strawberry coco cream?” He smiled and nodded his head. “Is that all for you, ma’am?” “Yes, sir.” “Okay your total is 3.45.” I gave him the exact change and he gave me my receipt.
I went over to the next counter for the pick ups. I kept my eyes on the yellow fellow. He’s pretty good looking… has a lot of tattoos, but it really fits him. And his smile was really nice too. Snap out of it, Evangeline! You have a boyfriend!
He came back with my order and a smile on his face. “Here ya go, cutie,” he said. I returned the smile and grabbed my drink. “Hey, how many tattoos do you have? It seems like quiet a few.” I said leaning over the counter towards him. “Oh, well psh I don’t really know like… a hundred or something.” I giggled at his response. “Some of these I actually drew myself.” I widened my eyes. “Really? Well you sure do have a talent. If I ever want a tattoo design I’ll come to you.” “Well I wouldn’t mind a cute girl like yourself to come in my shop for a tattoo. I also do tattoos myself,” he said as he leaned against the counter so he was really close to me. Now getting a close look at him I could see that he has freckles splattered all over his face. His big brown eyes looking right back at me made me want to give him one of those super cheesy smiles, but I kept my cool. “You own a shop?”
“Well, it’s not really MY shop, but I’m one of the bosses. I could give you the number, or… my number if you want a private little meet,” he winked at me. He’s hitting on me big time. Really, I was too. This guy is hot! How could I not hit on him? But I should really get going before Mike starts to get paranoid or something. Yet, I really wanted to find out more about this yellow fellow. I licked my lips real fast and leaned into his ear. “How about you throw me your number, and I’ll call you about the design I want,” I whispered. He looked at me and quickly licked his lips, then reached in his pocket and gave me his phone. I put my number in and handed it back to him. “Evangeline. That’s a real pretty name, for a real pretty girl. Here let me call you so you can have my number.” He quickly dialed my number and I got his. “What’s your name again?” I asked. “Chris.” I put his name in my phone and put it back in my pocket. “Well I better go before my smoothie starts melting. It was nice meeting you, Chris. Have a nice day,” I smiled as I walked towards the front door.
I finished the smoothie before I got home. Mike wasn’t home, but he left a note on the kitchen counter saying that he went to run some errands. Since today was my day off I decided to just sleep most of the day.
I woke up around 3 and heard the tv. I got up and went into the living room to see Mike sitting on the couch watching some comedy show. I sat down on his lap and gave him a quick kiss. “I came home and you were just passed out. You must’ve had a good run.” I wrapped my arms around his torso and nodded my head. He wrapped his arms around my waist and held me. This was very nice. I didn’t mind this at all… but I still felt, empty inside. It was nice having him around, and him being there for me through everything, but… I might have fallen out of love with him. I feel super crazy saying this, Mike is an amazing guy, but we just drifted apart. I wondered if he felt the same way.
I need to talk to him about these feelings… I can’t let them just drag along. What if he thinks we’re doing just fine and then decides he wants to spend the rest of his life with me?
I could NOT let that happen.
I stood up and went into the kitchen to see what I could fix. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I pulled it out to see I had a text from Chris.
Hey beautiful, I know this is pretty early but u wanna go 4 lunch sometime?
I smiled at the text and responded back: Yeah I’m down. Just say when and where.
“I got a better idea… how about we go out to eat. I haven’t taken you out to eat in awhile,” Mike said behind me. I jumped a little and turned to face him. His deep blue eyes were like daggers, I just couldn’t say no.
